The Court having considered the United States
application for an order to show cause and the grounds
therefore, it is therefore
ORDERED
That the defendant shall appear in the court at
Jackson, Mississippi at 9:00 a.m. on the day of
, 1970 to show cause why the student
desegregation plan implemented by the School District
failed to achieve the amount of desegregation projected
by the school board in its subsequent motion to modify
the desegregation plan prepared by the Office of Education
of the Department of Health, Education and Welfare, and
further why the School Dis LCL Should NoL be Tequired
to implement the original desegregation plan prepared
by HEW for the 1970-71 school year.
