Jackson v. Georgia, 0.7. 1971, No.69-5030
Dear Miss Beasley:
I am gdad we were finally able to talk again by
phone today. I am sure there will be no difficulties
in working out the stipulations in both cases.
I greatly appreciate yourwillingness to agree to
our request for an extension of time for filing a
brief to September 2nd. We will be filing a Motion
for Extension of Time today from California and my
co-counsel, Anthony G. Amsterdam, will be sending a
copy ©f the Motion to you. As we discussed, as soon
as we have the brief in typewritten form, we will be
sending it to you. If there is a legible draft prior
to the final product, we will send that as well.
Thanks again for your cooperation.
Sincerely,
Jack Himmelstein
