Chief Judge, Middle District of Louisiana, handed down

his Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law Remedy 
Phase in the matter entitled "Janice Clark, et al. vs. 
Charles E. "Buddy" Roemer, et al". 86-435-A. 

  

On the 6th day of June, 1990, an Order was 
entered in this proceeding permitting the State of 
Louisiana and the Louisiana District Judges Association 
to file a brief amici curiae in the LULAC case. 

  

In both their motion to file and in the 
brief, amici curiae advised the en banc panel that a 
decision in the Clark case was pending. A copy of 
Judge Parker's Findings and Conclusions is hereto 
attached for the purpose of advising the Court of this 
recent development.
