Re: Campaign to Save the Public Hospitals et al. v. Giuliani et al, No. 10763/96

Dear Justice Posner:

I write on behalf Campaign plaintiffs to request an extension for the filing of
Campaign plaintiffs’ supplementary papers addressing the illegality of the proposed sublease
of Coney Island Hospital under the HHC Act from Tuesday, November 26 to Friday,
November 29. Counsel for both the Council plaintiffs and the defendants have no
objection to this extension. They request, however, that should it be granted, the extension

be applied to their papers as well.

I will contact your law secretary this afternoon to ascertain the status of this
application. Thank you very much for your attention to this matter.

Sincerely, <
