We enclose a copy of motion for leave to intervene as defendants to 

which is attached a response to motion for supplemental relief, which 

we request that you file in the above matter. 

We conferred with Honorable Dan M. Russell, Jr., United States 

District Judge for the Southern District of Mississippi, to whom this 

matter has been referred for hearing. Judge Russell instructed us 

to file the original motion and response in the office of the Clerk of the 

United States District Court in Hattiesburg and simultaneously to {ile 

a true copy of the motion in your office. Judge Russell further 

instructed us to present the motion to him in Hattiesburg on Monday, 

April 20, 1970, at which time and place this matter has been set for 

hearing before Judge Russell.
