Dear Mr. torson:
This is in response to the letter of Julius Chambers dated
December 6, 1985. t"tr. Chambers states that the record in the
above-referenced case reflects that official barriers to black
voter registration have existed as recently as L982.
However, none of the citations to the record contained at
Appellees eriei lo5-106 support this allegation. All of the
cilations refer t.o countiei-which are not at issue in this appeal.
