No. 71-1260 Dear Mr. Rodak: I have been made acquainted with the contents of the response which has been, or will shortly be, filed by the United States in connection with the pending petition for a writ of certiorari in the above-captioned matter. Since we are in agreement with the position of the United States, the respondents whom I represent (the intervening plaintiffs below, Buckley et al.) do not desire to file a separate brief in opposition to certiorari. 1 I am taking this opportunity, therefore, to formally waive our right to separately respond; I should appreciate your notifying the Court that we join in the position of the United -States.
