Gerry:

These maps and charts were prepared by
Steve Suitts, Director, Southern Regional
Council to show alternate possibilities for
drawing legislative districts in seven North
Carolina counties in the absence of a state
constitutional prohibition on sub dividing
counties.

Julius Chambers and Leslie Winner, attorneys
for plaintiffs challenging the 1981 North
Carolina reapportionment will be attending the
2:30 Thursday meeting with Mr. Reynolds. They
can be reached in Charlotte, North Carolina,
704/375-8461 if there are any changes in
schedule.
