Re:

Dear Lani:

Gingles Exhibits

Enclosed is a list of the exhibits that I sent up to you
to give to Chambers for preparation for the argument in
Gingles. I would like to get all of the Gingles material,

which are all over my office,

in order, cataloged, and put

into storage for the time being. Can you please send me
back these exhibits so that I can put them in their proper
place. That way, in the unfortunate event that we may need
them again some day, we might be able to find them.

I am particularly interested in getting back the answer to
Interrogatory number 1 (the registration statistics) because
I used those regularly in doing other voting work in other

counties.

Thank you.
